There are lots of people who want to avoid all personal responsibilities. They want others to think for them, do their work for them, pay their bills for them ,etc. The nice and helpful thing you can do for this type of person is to refuse to help him. Throw him back upon himself. It teaches self-reliance and builds character which truly helps him. Helping him any other way only weakens and harms him.
